Inside the suburban house with one eye on the sky

In 2022, we set out to prove that an indoor life can still be deeply connected to nature. The result is Terabithia House, an "other worldly" sanctuary that CplusC built using salvaged sandstone and timber from the site's original 1930s cottage.

We were interviewed by the Sydney Morning Herald about how the home’s layout blurs the boundaries between the living room and the parkland beyond. They highlighted a particular gem: our "eye in the sky" oculus, a cheeky roof opening that frames the clouds and reflects the moon onto the lap pool.
