Our home in Northbridge just had its scaffolding come down, revealing itself as it reaches towards the finish line!

What’s the brief?

Home for a family of four with a pool, overlooking Fig Tree Cove.

What’s the materiality?

Lower Ground in recycled double brick.

Ground Floor wrapped in Australian hardwood canopy.

First Floor perforated corrugated sheeting to filter light and privacy.

… and you can’t miss the floating galvanised roof with the oculus.

What’s been a big challenge during construction? 

Figuring out the systems for the round steam room and its curved door 😶‍🌫️

What’s the coolest design feature? 

Suspended cargo net to hang out over the pool!
