CplusC's December 2020 Update
Happy (belated) New Year! After a busy end of 2020 and rush into 2021, we thought we'd give you a quick update on some of our recent award wins and article appearances  from the end of last year, and a peek at a new recently completed project. Thank you all for your ongoing support, and we wish you all the best for the upcoming year.

NSW Government Commends CplusC's
Circular Quay Design Proposal

CplusC's reimagination of one of the most iconic landmarks in the City of Sydney was highly commended in the Public Space Ideas Competition 2020 in its Best Open Space Idea category.

Imagine a Quay where you can buy fresh produce from a farmer’s market for lunch as part of your morning commute to work, or ingredients for your family dinner before you board the ferry home. Imagine having a croissant and coffee lunch on a grassy rooftop, surrounded by plants used for traditional bush medicine with an unmatched view of the harbour. Imagine meeting a friend for a drink in a place where you can lay amongst the native gardens as the sun sets behind the Harbour Bridge, uninterrupted by the hustle-bustle of the CBD right behind you. Imagine stepping off a train into an expansive green sanctuary for a picnic with the family, right in the heart of Sydney. Imagine a space where the people who use it are the priority, a space designed to create a seamlessly accessible experience, and an emphasis on making the Quay a people place, a destination in its own right – a truly Sydney Quay.

Living Screen House Featured on The Design Files

TheDesignFiles magazine has featured one of CplusC's most prided projects, Living Screen House, on their website. "A Wow-Factor North Bondi House that Brings the Outside In" Author Amelia Barnes walks us through the design features and philosophy, as well as the partnership with interior designer Jase Sullivan to create the breathtaking scenes of the Living Screen House.

Totoro House Photoshoot

CplusC's Totoro House finally had its long await photoshoot! Completed in 2019, Totoro House is one of our teams favourite projects. The ultimate reward for our team is to see our clients happy in their homes and it is great to see Alison, Simon and their family relaxed in their new space after the long journey through design, Council and construction. While we are waiting for the professional photos to finish their post-production process, here is a sneak peak of some of the shots taken by our Project Architect Ryan Ng.

Welcome to the Jungle House wins CN AWARDS 2020

CN Awards 2020 has announced their winner for this year and it is... us! Here's the judges' comments:

Our winner here had multiple wow factors. The project is small but striking which draws interest to the fundamentally important issue of climate change and how we should live in a people and planet friendly way. The judges were impressed by this ‘living experiment’ where they are literally interacting so closely with the design, through creating it and then the building itself requiring total interaction, all of which was done within a restricted environment.
