Iron Maiden House shortlisted for 2018 World Architecture Festival Award
The shortlist for the 2018 World Architecture Festival Awards was recently announced, and CplusC Architectural Workshop is proud to announce that our Iron Maiden House has been shortlisted in the ‘House – Completed’ category.
The World Architecture Festival is an annual event that is dedicated to celebrating, sharing and inspiring outstanding architecture from throughout the world. This year the event is being held in the capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam, where Director Clinton Cole will present the project to an international jury later this year.
This is the second year in a row that CplusC has been shortlisted for the WAF Awards, with Living Screen House also being selected as a finalist for the 2017 Awards in the same category. Like last year’s awards shortlist we are again the only architectural firm of all shortlisted projects in all categories that also build their work. Have a look through the travel blog from last year’s trip to Berlin, where Clinton and Architectural Project Manager, Ryan Ng, presented to the jury as well as took the opportunity to explore Berlin’s architecture and culture.
Iron Maiden House is one of the 18 finalists in the category, including 4 other projects from Australian architects. We wish all finalists the best of luck, and are excited for Iron Maiden House to be counted among one of the best houses of 2018 in the world.
